About NVQUK
Scotland
Who
In Scotland, the different priorities for government funding mean that much of our work is delivered via employer funding. However we work closely with Skills Development Scotland and other stakeholders to ensure that we keep up to date with funding and skills development.
Where
We cover all of Scotland although much of our delivery is centred on the location of our employer sites.
What
NVQUK offers a wide range of programmes within health and social care, to suit all levels of competency within the workplace. We operate a range of programmes which includes:
- Combined package of Skills for Care Induction/Mandatory training
- Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2 and 3
- Leadership and Management of Care Services NVQ Level 4
How
NVQUK have developed a unique approach to NVQ and Assessment in the form of the STARS programme. STARS stands for Systematic, Training, Achievement, Retention and Success. These programmes have been developed using a planned and systematic modular approach to the delivery of training and assessment. Each activity is specially designed to encourage and support every learner to successfully complete their individually prepared programme, irrespective of their existing knowledge or experience.
