Regional Setup
With over 80% of our team working in the field, NVQUK has adopted a regional structure to ensure that we support our learners, employers, stakeholders and staff appropriately. In each region our structure will generally include the following roles:
- A Regional Development Manager - whose role is to manage our SFA contracts, work with employers (existing & potential) and manage and support our Sales Executives.
- A Team of Sales Executives - these are generally the first NVQUK staff that our new learners meet. They work with each individual learner to complete the necessary enrolment paperwork and most vitally to explore the existing skills and future ambitions of each learner.
- A Regional Operations Manager - whose role is to manage and support our training delivery teams (Training Coordinators and Skills for Life tutors) to ensure timely achievements for our learners and their employers. Our Regional Operations Managers build working relationships with the service managers at the various care homes and hospitals who have chosen to work with NVQUK.
- A Regional Internal Verifier - whose role is to work with the regional delivery teams to ensure that the programmes delivered meet the quality standards that we and the awarding bodies would expect. This works includes both support and internal verification of completed portfolios
- A Team of Training Coordinators - whose role is to work with the learner to construct and then deliver training to a mutually agreed Negotiated Learning Plan that meets the individual needs of each learner. They of course assess current skills, observe the learner as they put their learning into practice and ultimately support the learner every step of the way until they feel that the learner has met the required standard. At this point they recommend that the programme has been achieved and is ready for certification and/or internal verification.
- Our Skills for Life Specialists - who often work across regions to support any identified needs for a learner in literacy and numeracy.
The regional teams are supported by the normal functions that you would expect in any organisation:
- Quality & Performance
- Human Resources
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance, Administration & IT
