About NVQUK

NVQUK was established in 2000 to provide the health and social care sector with high quality and effective training programmes to positively transform the service provided in each care setting. This aim remains unchanged today, although we have, of course, refined our delivery model and service in line with regulatory and partner requirements over the years. We have also grown to become the leading provider of NVQ and Apprenticeship programmes to the care sector and widened our target audience to also include the National Health Service. Working with health service partners is in fact an unsurprising extension as our founders are both former NHS managers themselves.

The success of NVQUK is not an accident, it has come about through ongoing consultation and partnership working with employers, Sector Skills Councils, regulators, funding bodies such as the Skills Funding Agency, our awarding body partner Edexcel and most vitally many thousands of our learners.

The result of our consultation with employers, learners and partners is our innovative STARS programme - STARS stands for Systematic, Training, Achievement, Retention, Success and the supportive delivery model is appreciated by employees and their employers.

We recently announced a new venture – the opening our first NTQUK Academy in the Bracknell/Berkshire area. The sole goal of the Academy is to help young people into a career in Business Administration or Health and Social Care. The Academy is being marketed and opened under the NTQUK name as NVQUK will have completed the formalities around the name change as the first entrants start their course.
