Training Delivery

STARS programmes are delivered by your allocated NVQUK Training Coordinator who, as a rule, will stay with you for the entire programme.

We run knowledge workshops, assessments and observations in your own workplace- again with a mix of small group and one to one sessions as best fits your own learning needs. Our aim is not to re-teach you what you already know but to fill the gaps in your knowledge.

You will have a lot of contact time with your Training Coordinator who will really support your learning and encourage you to achieye your qualification.

How long does it take?

It is difficult to prescribe how long each learner will take to complete their qualification as it depends on their existing skills, knowledge and qualifications.

We do however find that NVQ Level 2 learners will generally complete their programme within 1 ten week term whilst NVQ Level 3 learners may require 2 terms. Training for learners undertaking Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship programmes will be planned over two terms.
