The Apprenticeship consists of the following components
Key skills
Application of number and communication at level 1. This award will support you with many job and life skills- like all STARS programmes, this is delivered at your workplace with user- friendly learning resources
Employment Rights and Responsibilities
This part of the qualification helps you get a clear picture of employment law and expectations of yourself, your employer and your colleagues
Technical Certificate
This is qualification that can be matched to the NVQ knowledge specification, and offers learners the opportunity to achieve a distinction within the award.
Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care
This award includes your performance in the work place as well as giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills to a nationally accepted standard.
A STARS Advanced Apprenticeship
The Advanced Apprenticeship structure offers the same components as the Apprenticeship but at a higher level. Key Skills are set at level 2 and The NVQ is at level 3. In order to undertake this award, you should be working in a role which involves supervising others, working unsupervised yourself or involvement in the support and development of other staff in your workplace.
