Introduction

Short course opportunities via Skills@Work

The Skills@Work training and development courses offer a face to face learning experience which is based on high quality up to date content and a focus on behaviour, attitude and practice change. All of our courses are developed and delivered by qualified, experienced and vocational trainers who share our values and aims.

Our aims are to equip each participant to:

  • Define and accurately describe successful and helpful behaviour, attitudes and practice in relation to specific event content and workplace requirements
  • Identify and challenge inappropriate or unhelpful practice, attitudes and behaviour
  • Define successful outcomes within their roles as required under the new CQC regulations
  • Identify and evaluate the effects of the changes they have made in their behaviour, attitudes and practice as a result of their participation in the event

For our leadership and management courses we are focusing on the importance of leadership as well as sound principles of practical management. Uniquely, to gain the certificate of achievement for any of our courses all participants will need to:

  • Attend and participate in the training event
  • Action plan for specific changes in practice, attitude and/or behaviour
  •  Provide evidence that changes have taken place using the template provided

The courses we offer are:
