Academy Tutor, Business Admin and Health and Social Care

Background

This exciting role is one of four tutor posts in our Academy. There are two tutors in each subject class who support a group of approximately 25 (max 30 students). Students are aged 16-18 and enter the academy following interview and initial assessment. They study the apprenticeship qualification and are supported with an apprenticeship wage whilst learning and a travel contribution. NVQUK also sources work placements for students during the course and guarantees a job interview on successful completion. In addition to the teaching staff, NVQUK academies are also supported by partnership advisors and an employment placement advisor.

Location & Travel

Located close to our academy in Berkshire Area, the role will require a formal induction and training and development days at our Head Office in Bracknell. As students leave the Academy classroom environment and enter the work placement phase of their programme, you will be expected to continue to support them, so some in area travel is envisaged and will be reimbursed.

Salary will be dependant on Qualifications and Experience.
